Broad Acceptance – We offer coverage for all the major brands of snowmobiles, including Arctic-Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo and Yamaha. We insure most types of snowmobiles, including high performance, mountain, touring, trail and utility type snowmobiles. Snowmobile insurance coverages include Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability, Comprehensive & Collision, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist, Roadside Assistance and more. If you’re thinking about snowmobile insurance to protect you during your snowy adventures, we can help!
Bodily Injury Property Damage Liability (BI/PD) – covers your legal liability for an accident that involves injury to another person or damage to someone’s property, up to the limit of liability you select.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (U/UM) – If your injury expenses exceed the at-fault party’s liability limits, you can use Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury coverage to pay for the amount not covered by the at-fault person’s insurance. Similar to Uninsured Motorist coverage, Underinsured Motorist Coverage is designed to cover the gap between the other person’s liability limits and the amount of your injury expenses, up to the Underinsured Motorist limits you select. Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Property Damage (UMPD) –If the driver or owner of a vehicle is legally liable for an accident but does not have insurance or does not have enough insurance, you can use Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Property Damage (UMPD) to cover damage to your insured snowmobile, up to the limits you select. In some states, UMPD is available as an alternative to Collision coverage. Certain exclusions may apply. Refer to your policy. Medical Payments (MedPay) – coverage pays the cost of necessary medical care you receive as a result of a snowmobile accident and can be used regardless of who is at fault. MedPay often is limited to medical treatment received within the first three years after an accident and is limited to a specific dollar amount. In some states, MedPay only applies after other medical insurance is exhausted. Comprehensive – is for damage to your snowmobile caused by an event other than a collision, such as fire, theft or vandalism. If you hit an animal, or if your snowmobile catches on fire or is stolen, Comprehensive coverage will apply.
Collision – is for damage to your snowmobile when you collide with another vehicle or object. If you hit a snowmobile, a pole or another nonliving object, Collision coverage will apply. Transport Trailer Coverage – We offer Physical Damage coverage for a non-motorized trailer designed for public roads and towed by a land motor vehicle. The trailer can either be fully enclosed or a flat trailer, as long as the primary purpose of the trailer is to transport snowmobiles. Snowmobile Accessory Coverage – We can provide coverage to protect your after-market equipment and accessories, including helmets and riding apparel, sled covers, bags/saddlebags, racks, seats/backrests, windshields, equipment upgrades, sleds designed to be pulled behind a snowmobile, etc. Additional coverage is available. For additional information pertaining to accessories and safety riding apparel, ask our experienced staff. Don’t forget to ask us about snowmobile insurance rates and discounts!
